It's Another Giveaway!

One of my most favorite blogs, Ozma of Odds,
is having a FaBuLOus Giveaway!

I don't post about every giveaway I see
but I couldn't resist spreading the word
about Rosemary's.

You see, it's not just about the giveaway,
(even as fantastic and generous as it is!)
it's about sharing and building friendships in blogland.

Rosemary is such a sweet and humble person,
and oh-so-talented too.
(and did I mention generous?!)

Once you check out her post you will see why
she calls it "The Gratitude Giveaway".

Blessings to each and every one of you!

White Wednesday Catch Up

You may or may not have noticed that
I haven't done a WW post for-e-ver!
I was on such a roll for a while there too!

In the best interest of my time right now,
I'm going to post a bunch of different pictures
I've taken of my space and some furniture
that just all happen to be in some form of white.

I just finished this little dresser last week.
I added appliques and then sort of dry brushed it,
and added glass knobs.

I had forgotten about this little shelf
that I had painted the same way.

We had so much fun making this door that
I think I'll do a WW post just featuring
this door with before, during and afters.

I made these four bottles out of
all sorts of things I had managed to collect.
I actually did all of them the night before that boutique.
Since they didn't sell, here they are in my space.

This lovely beast was a project we took on about
a month ago but I actually bought it about 9 years ago.
It was one of the first large pieces I bought
when I got my first space at Mission Galleria.

I had a specific vision for it way back then.
I had the precise appliques pictured in my mind -
I've had the appliques just about as long!
I'm so happy with the way it turned out!
Just as I had pictured.

 Here's the matching dresser/vanitiy.
At the last minute I decided to
add appliques to the mirror.

This is a previous picture of the window to my space.
This was a metal tray we painted, then added chalkboard paint.
It has since sold.

I apologize for the terrible pictures but
everything, and I mean everything,
reflects in the window every time I take pictures of it.

This one is better because I put my phone
directly to the glass to avoid the reflection.
The only thing is that it only works for close ups!

The lady that bought the chalkboard tray
also bought the desk and chair to go with it.

I think it really helps to sell your things when
you display them in such a way that
people can see how they may set it up
in their own home.

This is my window now.
Since the desk set sold, I moved the dresser/vanity
and switched the gossip bench to the other side.
I also moved the floor screen I did all the way up
on the platform in the window.
I'd still like to add some fabric on the sides
but I was lucky to have enough time to
set up the window in the first place!
Like I always say...
with three crazy, beautiful kids and
a fabulous Husband,
my time is somewhat limited!  ;).

I hope you all enjoy White Wednesday!

Please take some time to check out the other
beautiful whites at Kathleen's Faded Charm.

Blessings to every one of you!

Let's Catch Up

Long time, no post huh?
Let's catch up.
First off, I realize that I already posted about
September's Chateau de Fleurs BUT
I never told you about the best part -
and the kindness of these wonderful women
should not go unnoticed.
They are much too sweet for that.

You may regocnize this beautiful gal,
this is Kate
from Salvage Dior.
She was SO SWEET to surprise me and
come to the show.

Even sweeter than that she brought me
a hand-made gift!

Personalized no less!

 Aren't these the cutest birdies?

 I can't decide which I like more...
the birdies or the butterflies.

I think I just love them all the same!

Kate is just as friendly as you'd imagine
from reading her blog
Salvage Dior.
Head on over and you'll see what I mean,
I promise you'll be hooked after one post.

I also received another personalized, hand-made gift
from the lovely Rita Reade of Mammabellarte.

Rita is Christie Repasy's SNL (sister-in-law)
and they host this fabulous show together.
Rita made these adorable personalized
pendants for each and every one of us lucky vendors.

I'm so bummed I forgot to buy one of her
hand-made chains while I was there!

So for now, it's made its home on a safety pin
hooked to my mannequin.

I'm also bummed that I don't have a picture
of Rita to show you but you can find one
on Kate's post on Chateau de Fleurs.
One thing you can't capture in a photo
is Rita's awesome Italian accent!
I could just listen to her all day!

OK, next...

These are a couple of photos I took of my space
at a boutique I just did in Huntington Beach.

Unfortunately, the weather was so drizzly and dreary
that I didn't sell much that day.
BUT, at least I have a bunch of new stuff
for my space at Mission Galleria!

I'll be doing a WW post of new photos
of my space.

Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings to you,

Shabbyfufu Giveaway!

Everyone's posting about the Shabbyfufu Giveaway
so I decided to join the bandwagon.

Well, to be quite honest, it does get me another chance
at winning the giveaway.
Oh, did I say that out loud?

But I actually do love to post about other lovely blogs.
I think it's a good thing (oops, not trying to sound like someone)
to spread the word about other bloggerettes.
We're all in this together so let's give each other
a helping hand whenever we can.

Janet makes beautiful one of a kind chandeliers.

Please visit her blog and web-site to view all the pretties.

She has been featured in all our favorite magazines.

Here are the links to her blog and web-site:

I'll be posting about a couple of wonderful surprises
I received at Chateau de Fleurs.
(I hope you're not sick of hearing about the show!)
I've been busy with so much that I haven't
had time to finish posting about it!
Bear with me, I'm excited to share with you all!

Blessings to everyone!
