White Wednesday at Chateau de Fleurs....

Here's the gang at Chateau de Fleurs!

Christe Repasy is the lovely blonde on the left.
The crazy, adorable Italian, Rita Reade, is kneeling on the right
in the grey sweater.
I'm right behind Christie on the left.
(I'll name each of these fabulous artists and vendors soon.)

It was a great show!  Really...it was!

I started this post the other day and now since it's Tuesday night,
I thought 'Why not make this my WW post?'
Since at least half of my stuff was white,
that should qualify right?...umm..right Kathleen?

Well, any-hoo, here's some shots of my space.

Please excuse the grainy photo on this one, I took it with
my phone to send to my Husband and it ended up
being the only one that showed the entire space!

Another cell phone shot, even more grainy because I zoomed and cropped it.

I really had to get the best possible picture of the nightstand,
there on the left,
that I painted black and covered in sheet music.
I'm so glad I already had a drawer pull for it.
We just painted it black and bent it a little to fit the holes.
It had sat stripped and unfinished in my FNL's living room for years.
It was a find from his late wife but
she just never got around to finishing it.
He's not a fan of old junk and he knows I LOVE it
so he was pretty happy to donate it to my cause.
I think he'll be proud of the after,
especially because it sold first thing Friday morning!

I finished this vanity to match -vintage sheet music and
painted black.
I just love the contrast.
It really complements the varying shades of the old pages.

I love the way it looks against the floor screen.
I keep debating on painting the frame to it black.
What do you think?

Don't you just LOVE the ornate hand-carved back on this chair?

I'm really loving old silver pieces,
they go with just about everything.

Do I spy a white, chippy chair,
some white milk glass,
a white, chippy basket
and an old white linen?
Yay, I told you there were whites!

Although they are displayed amongst a bit of black furniture,
there are some more whites to be found!

I love those big, ornate, white globes.
Since they didn't sell, they're now in the window of my booth.

I really love the way this petite vanity turned out.
Of course I didn't take any before photos - darn it!
But it was one of those shiny, fake cherry pieces
with an awful, tapestry type fabric on the seat.
Of course I had to load it up with appliques and these
smaller, delicate ones were just the right match.

This feminine little tree was another fun project
my Husband and I whipped up the night before.
He actually re-routed the wiring to the lights through
the lamp base so it works just like a lamp.
It was quickly picked up by the same adorable person
that bought my chalkboard door at the Redlands sale.
Her and her daughter are so cute,
I wish I would've gotten a picture of them with their new tree.
I am so bad a remembering to take pictures!

Fortunately, Rita isn't.  That's how I have this awesome picture of
the gang at Chateau de Fleurs.

My last black and white.

Please skip on over to see tons of more appropriately described whites
at Kathleen's White Wednesday at Faded Charm.

Blessings to all of you,

Missy
